Successful root canal treatment begins with adequate access to the pulp chamber. The ideal procedure allows access to the root canal orifices with minimal dentin loss.

Dentin preservation is necessary as a critical foundation for a quality restoration after root canal treatment. The more dentin preserved during an endodontic treatment, the more chances there will be for a successful and lasting restoration. Therefore, conservative endodontic approach (CEC) is recommended with the TruNatomy™ system.

CANAL PREPARATION

The TruNatomy™ Orifice Modifier instrument adapts the orifice shape to create the ideal entry point for TruNatomy™ Glider and TruNatomy™ Shaping Files. This instrument helps preserve coronal anatomy thanks to its flexibility, diameter, and heat-treated NiTi alloy. It is also ideal for cases where the canal is not vertically oriented as it can enter the tooth from different angles. The TruNatomy™ Orifice Modifier is recommended in the basic TruNatomy™ sequence.

GLIDE PATH

Root canal preparation is significantly more effective when an adequate and reproducible glide path is created. For this reason, the system includes a dedicated instrument for glide path creation.

• Works at a higher speed with less torque • With only 2 cutting blades, it encounters less resistance and therefore requires less applied pressure, ensuring precision and greater ease of use • Heat treatment offers greater flexibility with improved cyclic fatigue resistance.

SHAPING

TruNatomy™ Shaping Files are available in three different sizes and lengths to treat a wide range of cases. While the TruNatomy™ Prime instrument is suitable for most cases, two other instruments, TruNatomy™ Small and TruNatomy™ Medium, are available for smaller and larger canals, respectively. The clinician will experience a smooth transition between TruNatomy™ Shaping Files.

TruNatomy™ ENSURES GREATER RESPECT FOR NATURAL ANATOMY

The instrument is made with a special heat-treated NiTi alloy that offers greater flexibility, allowing the instrument to be pre-curved when necessary. Thanks to its superior canal centering ability4, the instrument adapts to the canal and not the other way around.

TRUNATOMY™ PRESERVES STRUCTURAL DENTIN

The combination of instrument geometry, regressive tapers, thin and highly flexible alloy makes root canal treatment efficient while removing dentin when necessary.

ADEQUATE DISINFECTION

The TruNatomy™ irrigation tip completes the treatment sequence: • Opposing bilateral holes near the tip allow for a balanced amount of irrigant for greater control along the canal. • Made of soft polypropylene, the tip bends and is easily flexible to follow the root canal anatomy. • The plastic body makes the tip atraumatic to hard tissues.
