5th generation enamel-dentin adhesive that combines primer and adhesive in a single component to facilitate application; it is compatible with all dental etchants and creates an excellent bond between enamel-dentin and all self- and light-curing composites, compomers, and resin-based composite cements. Bond strength greater than 20 MPa in dentin.
Thanks to electron microscopy, it was possible to verify the formation of the hybrid layer, which is fundamental for bonding with dentin. The same study evaluated the thickness of the hybrid layer at 10 microns, an already low value, and plugs over 50 microns in the dentinal tubules, which ensure not only a high level of retention but also a secure sealing of the tubules themselves.
