Instructions for sterilizing the cannula
Before washing in the instrument washer, the selector must be separated from the body of the cannula, in order to allow the removal of any pathogenic microorganisms inside the moving parts.
After washing, bag the two pieces and place them in an autoclave at 121°C for 20 minutes.
It's important that the two pieces of the cannula be sterilized separately to avoid any welding. The mirror must remain in place to prevent the holder from deforming and making reinsertion difficult.
Instructions for inserting the mirror
Inserting the mirror into the holder, when you decide to replace it, is easier if done when hot (for example after an autoclave cycle) or, in any case, with extreme delicacy if cold.
