Drawing on 3M’s expertise in adhesives and 3M ESPE’s years of experience in dental bonding, Scotchbond™ Universal has a unique chemistry that makes it totally versatile – all in one bottle!

• The Vitrebond™ copolymer provides greater and more consistent adhesion to moist and dry dentin.
• MDP monomer optimizes the performance of the Self-Etch technique, ensures chemical adhesion to zirconia, alumina and metal without the need for a primer, and increases product stability so that refrigeration is not required.
• The silane allows the adhesive to chemically bond to glass-ceramic surfaces without the need for a primer.

Composition

The development of Scotchbond™ Universal adhesive leverages existing, time-tested technologies currently used in the following adhesives: Adper™ Scotchbond™ Multi-Purpose, Adper™ Scotchbond™ 1XT and Adper™ Easy Bond Self-Etch
