TDA diamond burs are designed with a double, opposing helix, formed by a series of opposing helical grooves that run along the entire length of the working part of the instrument. The TDA allows for a combination of rapid reduction and preparation of the tooth stump with a good level of finishing. The rapid removal of debris through the helical grooves prevents the bur from clogging, ensuring better cutting efficiency. The rhomboidal areas are diamond-coated with a medium grit and perform a smoothing action, eliminating lengthy finishing procedures. The opposing helical grooves are essential for effective cooling. Thanks to its characteristics, the TDA collects water and therefore self-cools, resulting in excellent thermal results. The absolute respect for the pulp is due to the absence of overheating caused by the recovery of cooling fluid and interruptions in contact with the tooth. The rapid flow of cooling fluid reduces heat generation, preventing the risk of pulp trauma and also ensuring a longer lifespan of the diamond instrument.
