Standard metal abutments are brazed with a special palladium alloy onto 80 mesh sintered mesh to ensure strong adhesion to the tooth with any composite. The bases are anatomically contoured to fit the tooth anatomy well. Hook abutments are obtained with the MIM® (Metal Injection Moulding) technique, in which Leone is a leader.

All other types of standard metal brackets are obtained from a medical-grade stainless steel profile using computerized machines. The surfaces are rounded and mirror-polished to ensure maximum patient comfort and to facilitate plaque removal. The pre-inclined brackets have a color-coded disto-gingival identification to simplify application in the mouth. All Leone brackets are supplied in pleasant and ergonomic packaging.
