Theracal™ LC is a light-cured, radiopaque, resin-reinforced calcium silicate liner: Designed to act as a protective barrier for the pulpodentinal complex (direct and indirect treatments), under composite, cement, amalgam and other materials Highly radiopaque (2.63 mm Al) With a significant calcium release (equal to 188.g/cm2) which, together with the alkaline pH, stimulates the formation of reaction dentin, hydroxyapatite and dentinal bridge in direct cappings.

Light-curing allows the clinician to immediately place and condense the restorative material, while the patented formulation of the hydrophilic resin (tricalcium silicate particles in a hydrophilic monomer) allows for a strong, durable veneer or base.

THERACAL™ LC can be used to replace calcium hydroxide, glass ionomers, and other restorative materials. As a pulp capping agent, TheraCal™ LC can be applied directly to pulp exposures once hemostasis has been achieved. (RT9)
