Bioxen Spongiosa Ousia

It is a natural, porous, bovine-derived bone mineral matrix, produced by removing the organic components from bovine bone. Due to its natural structure, Bioxen is physically and chemically comparable to the mineralized matrix of human bone. The denatured bone matrix has macro and microscopic characteristics similar to human bone, characterized by bone trabeculae with interconnected macro and micropores, which promote angiogenesis and osteogenesis processes at the graft site. Bioxen can be used with autologous bone if the amount of bone is insufficient to meet the needs of the proposed surgical procedure.

INDICATIONS: Recommended for alveolar ridge reconstruction or augmentation; filling of intraosseous periodontal defects; filling following rhizotomies, cystectomies or apicoectomies; maxillary sinus lift; filling of intraosseous defects in combination with products intended for guided tissue regeneration (GTR) or guided bone regeneration (GBR); filling of defects following peri-implantitis in combination with products intended for guided bone regeneration (GBR); ideal for socket preservation and sinus lift procedures.
