Equine heterologous bone substitute in granules Mix (cortico-spongiosis) with sizes from 0.5 to 1.0 mm. – 0.5 g bottle. Volume 1 cc BGM–05 Biogen Bioteck Bioactiva. The Bioteck line of natural solutions has been present in regenerative surgery since 1995. It consists of a wide range of bone grafts that meet multiple surgical needs. The granules are supplied in various sizes optimized for different surgical applications. Some special formats, such as freeze-dried bone pastes or ready-to-use products in syringes, greatly simplify the procedures for positioning at the graft site. The line is completed by membranes for guided regeneration, also available in various formats.

Granular bone substitutes are the traditional and most widely used format. Bioteck granular grafts are available in various formats.
The traditional 0.5–1 mm grain size is suitable for most applications. Larger grain sizes are specifically indicated for maxillary sinus lifts.
They are available as cancellous granules, cortical granules, or a mixture of the two. Spongy granules have an average remodeling time ranging from 4 to 6 months; cortical granules from 8 to 12 months.
The selection criterion is to use cancellous granules in smaller cavities with multiple walls, while as the volume to be regenerated increases and in the absence of bone walls it is preferable to use a longer-lasting material such as cortical granules.
The mixture contains both components and can be used for all applications.
