Collimated LED curing light
Collimated for deeper, more reliable curing
Collimated beam and uniformity
A non-collimated LED light provides decreasing curing energy based on the depth of the restoration. As shown in Fig. 1, the non-collimated LED fades quickly, providing very little curing energy for deeper restorations. The Radii-Cal CX's collimated beam provides uniform curing at all depths. This ensures rapid and predictable curing for all restorations.

“What you're looking for is an optimally collimated beam. Think of a lighthouse and the light coming out of it. That's what you're looking for. You're looking for a light that has good performance over distance. † “
Dr. Richard Price
Advanced heat management
Heat dissipation is critical for all curing lights. Increased heat reduces clinical performance and the lifespan of a light.* The Radii-Cal CX includes heat dissipation technology. This technology protects the LED from harmful heat. By remaining cool, the Radii-Cal CX allows for back-to-back treatments without the need for mandatory cooling. It also extends the lifespan of the unit.
Lightweight and ergonomic
The ergonomic, lightweight design minimizes fatigue and maximizes comfort. The handpiece weighs only 144g. Suitable for both pencil and pistol grips, this lightweight device minimizes hand and arm fatigue. The finger recess also provides ergonomic support for curing the upper or lower quadrants.
Smart Battery
The Radii-Cal CX simply docks into its convenient charging station for convenient, continuous charging. There's no need to unscrew or remove the batteries for separate charging. The dock lights up green to indicate full charge.
Long-lasting battery
Radii-Cal CX doesn't require frequent recharging between uses. When fully charged, Radii-Cal CX delivers 1,200 cures in 10 seconds.
Incremental mode to protect against sensitivity
During the first 5 seconds, the light energy of Radii-Cal CX gradually increases. This “soft-start” polymerization minimizes stress at the restoration-enamel-dentin junction and reduces marginal gaps in the restoration. This safeguards the integrity of the restoration and reduces post-operative sensitivity.
Integrated Radiometer
The Radii-Cal CX features a built-in radiometer that confirms the energy output of the unit. The radiometer is calibrated to the Radii-Cal CX's collimated lens.

Optimal wavelength spectrum
The Radii-Cal CX LED lamp reaches the key wavelength of 440-480 nm, [Fig. 2] which maximizes the activation of camphorquinone monomers. This ensures effective polymerization of light-cured materials.

Easy to clean
The smooth, glossy finish prevents bacteria from building up on the surface, making it quick and easy to clean. The included, perfectly fitting protective sleeves prevent cross-contamination.
Replacement lenses
The replacement lenses can be easily unscrewed and replaced. Other curing lights without replaceable lenses require a complete replacement of the unit.
2 year warranty
The Radii-Cal CX’s rugged, reliable construction ensures a long-lasting investment.
