Tubuliclean 250 ml – Ogna
Tubuliclean by Ogna is a chelating solution based on EDTA at a neutral pH, formulated for the cleaning and demineralization of dentin during endodontic procedures. Thanks to its low surface tension, it effectively penetrates the dentinal tubules, removing organic-mineral debris and smear layer, preparing the canal for the subsequent cleaning phase with Niclor 5.
Mechanism of action
- Calcium chelation: binds calcium ions and demineralizes the dentinal structure to facilitate instrumentation
- High penetration: low surface tension allows penetration into the dentinal tubules, clearing them of organic-mineral debris and smear layer
- Buffered neutral pH: non-toxic, non-caustic solution that is completely harmless to periapical tissues; the neutral pH is maintained over time
Usage protocol
Use Tubuliclean alternately with Niclor 5 (sodium hypochlorite) for complete cleaning of the root canal system. Always finish with a final rinse of Niclor 5 to neutralize the action of EDTA.
