Lyostypt: absorbable collagen fleece for hemostasis
Lyostypt B. Braun is an absorbable, deantigenated bovine collagen fleece for hemostasis. It promotes ADP-dependent platelet aggregation and the formation of an organized lattice along the contact surface.
Characteristics
- High absorption capacity, which allows for a reduction in the amount of material used.
- Promotes rapid hemostasis and a reduction in blood loss.
- Excellent adherence to bleeding surfaces.
- Does not adhere to gloves or instruments.
Hemostasis and absorption times
- Indicated mean hemostasis time: 2 minutes and 20 seconds (± 1 minute and 40 seconds), depending on the field of application and type of hemorrhage.
- Indicated absorption time: approximately 3 weeks, depending on the area of application and the quantity of material used.
- Complete absorption via phagocytosis and enzymatic degradation.
Packaging
Pack of 12 pieces.
