Glyde File Prep by Dentsply Sirona is the reference lubricating and chelating gel for cleaning and shaping root canals. Its formula combines 15% EDTA and carbamide peroxide, offering chelating, lubricating, and antibacterial action in a single product. Certified as a Medical Device CE0459.
Mechanism of Action
- 15% EDTA: chelating agent that demineralizes dentin, softens canal walls, and facilitates instrument progression
- Carbamide peroxide: oxidizing action that dissolves organic debris and contributes to antibacterial cleansing of the canal
- Gel formulation: lubricates instruments, reduces friction, and suspends debris for easy removal
