Aevizol® Care Cross-Linked Hydrogel – Periodontal Pocket Sealant | Dentatech
Aevizol® Care is a probiotic cross-linked hydrogel with Apolactoferrin and Lysozyme, indicated for periodontal prevention and therapy. Applied in periodontal pockets, it seals the site, counteracts periodontal disease and its recurrence, and accelerates tissue healing. Remains in the site for at least 3 weeks.
Active Ingredients
- Apolactoferrin: iron-free form of lactoferrin, with superior antimicrobial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. Deprives bacteria of iron, inhibits biofilm, and has a bactericidal action
- Lysozyme: enzyme that cleaves bacterial peptidoglycan causing cytolysis; in combination with apolactoferrin, it enhances its antibacterial efficacy

- Periodontal prevention and therapy
- Maintenance of gingival and root health after scaling and root planing
- Protection and acceleration of post-surgical healing
- Mucositis, periodontal pockets, and peri-implantitis

- Filling of the periodontal pocket and counteracting biofilm formation
- Muco-adhesive sealing to hinder bacterial diffusion
- Anti-inflammatory probiotic action thanks to biocompatible polymers
How to Use
- Apply the probiotic gel (straw-white syringe) into the pocket to be treated
- Bring the cross-linking solution into contact to induce solidification into a compact membrane
- Remove excess after 2-3 minutes. Single application at the end of the professional hygiene session
Storage
Protect from light and heat, at room temperature (15-25°C). Do not freeze. Single-use: use immediately after opening.
